Coaches Recruitment Announcement
Pro-Bono Coaching Project 2019

We are excited to announce that Hong Kong International Coaching Community (HKICC) has been invited by the Golden Bauhinia Women Entrepreneur Association (GBWEA) to collaborate on a pro-bono coaching project in 2019 to support their members in mentoring female university students from low income families in their Future Leader Training Program.

We cordially invite our member coaches to apply to be one of the volunteer coaches, and help spread coaching to the community and demonstrate the effectiveness of coaching.

About Golden Bauhinia Women Entrepreneur Association

The Golden Bauhinia Women Entrepreneur Association (GBWEA) is a non-profit organization founded in 2012. It is one of the first Chambers of Commerce in Hong Kong to unite women entrepreneurs in developing the Greater China business network.

The GBWEA Charitable Foundation (Foundation) was established in 2016. It encourages and recognizes women entrepreneurs in Hong Kong and the Greater China region. It aims to develop and, train young women entrepreneurs and outstanding students and be a platform to exchange ideas and experiences.

 About Future Leader Training Program

The Future Leader Training Program is one of the Foundation’s signature offerings which awards financial aid/scholarship to selected female university students from low income families. It also provides a number of travel sponsorships for overseas exchanges to nurture them and pave the way for their future contribution to Hong Kong.  Besides financial support, the Foundation prides itself in orchestrating trainings, workshops and seminars to unlock the leadership potential of the young talented females, and help to match internships or exchanges in Hong Kong or overseas when appropriate.
To better support the development of these selected program participants, GBWEA assigns a Mentor from its membership to each of the 30+ students for a 12 months period, but as many of these mentors do not have prior mentor/ coaching experience, they have decided to turn to coaching and approached HKICC for support in coaching these mentors to better develop their mentees.

About Benefits to HKICC Coaches
