Reinforcing its mission of empowering and nurturing an open, inclusive, collaborative, and sustainable coaching community towards mastery, maturity, and clarity, HKICC is organising this series of workshops to help coaches develop a sustainable coaching business.

All coaches who would like to explore insights and develop strategies would acquire skills to enable them to create a thriving and successful coaching business in serving their clients from participating in the series.

1. Who are you as a coach and how are you adding value to others through coaching?

Presenter: Dora Leung with Phyllis Lo
Date: 24 Sep 2020 (Thursday)
Time: 7:30 p.m. to 9:10 p.m.
Duration: 100 mins

Workshop Objectives:

The workshop will facilitate you to identify your purpose and core values in being a coach by using the IKIGAI model and Points of You®.  IKIGAI is a Japanese concept referring to reasons of being.

  • Find your authentic self as a coach
  • Identify who you would like to serve
  • Articulate those values you bring to the table

After the workshop, you would have the option to participate in a trio support group to further distil your purpose, niche, and articulation of your values, with a group debrief tentatively on 29 Oct 2020.

2. Expert Secrets to Attract Your Ideal Client

Presenter: Steve Lawrence
Date: 8 Oct 2020 (Thursday)
Time: 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Duration: 90 mins

Workshop Objectives:

Many professional coaches are experts in their craft but feel they are not attracting the right type of client. Alternatively, a coach has built their business, but clients are not rushing through the door.  Is this you?

If so, join Steve Lawrence, executive coach, and leadership development professional, as he shares practical marketing secrets for attracting ideal clients.  In this workshop, we will explore how to:

  • Get clear on your message (e.g., who do you serve and what problem do you solve)
  • Not be embarrassed or feel awkward when marketing or selling your coaching services
  • Build a marketing storyline that makes your customer the hero of their story and positions you as the expert guide to help them solve their problem.
  • Use live video for building empathy and authority with your ideal customer

What’s so great about this webinar is that marketing is the oxygen of business, and it’s used to emotionally engage your future clients into services that can change their lives.  So join us as we gain clarity, insight, and practical resources for working not just in our business, but on it.
