Dear Readers,
Having heard Steve Mitten, senior Master Certified Coach and past ICF President, speak so powerfully at the Fearless Living Retreat in June 2007, I’m thrilled to offer in this month’s newsletter two articles from him which I feel confident will inspire us all on how to give a powerful experience of coaching to prospects and how to attract new clients. New coaches, take note!
I’m also delighted to introduce you to Denise Wong, who will take on the job of newsletter editor as from next month. Denise, congratulations!
Here’s what I’ve learned about Denise……….”The minute you put a box around Denise, she changes. Denise is the kind of person who would continuously morph herself, believing that as long as she is willing to take the first step, with a genuine heart, in a certain direction of change, she will be guided toward the next steps. Coaching is one of the stops she’s making along the way. Her geo-cultural background: Chinese heritage, born in Vietnam, educated in Canada, worked in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, and traveled independently to many more. Her professional background: from non-profit to multi-nationals, e.g. capacity building for NGO in rural Yunnan, IT project (SAP) consultant, head of logistics/supply chain operation”.

I’ve worked in the role of editor for 21 months, have had tremendous fun and now believe it’s time for me to…. produce my own newsletter! I’m grateful for the opportunity to have learned new skills, and want to express my thanks to all those who have supported me including Michelle Gabbe for showing me the ropes, Carole Lewis and Olivier Valentin for sourcing articles, Danny Moorjani for his tech support, and to friends and colleagues around the world who have stepped up and produced articles when asked. And, the BIGGEST thanks to Stacey Chan for being such fun to work with in getting the newsletter loaded onto our website - Stacey, you made my job EASY!
