Proactive Time Management training program, Hong Kong 2010 (1-Day Program)

Time is a unique resource in that everyone is given an equal amount - a gift of 24 hours each day. How you invest that gift is a major factor in how you feel about your life.

If you’re interested in making the best out of your time or to assist your clients on how to manage their own time, ACT Training International delivers one of its most looked for courses: Proactive Time Management.

Proactive Time Management Training Program

As you become more proficient and knowledgeable as a professional, would you agree that it is important to continually raise the personal productivity bar for yourself?

Your career and your overall sense of satisfaction depend on your ability to become more efficient and effective in the skill of time management.

Think of time as one of the tools that you have available to reach your goals. As with many tools, if you want to use time effectively, it may require some training (or retraining), determination and practice.

However, in reality you can't manage time. It is what it is, and the clock simply ticks off the seconds, minutes and hours while you do what you do. Therefore, time management is self-management.

Your old time management habits are your greatest obstacle to achieving higher levels of personal productivity and lower levels of stress. In essence, time management is about personal change, and the question then becomes: Are you ready to change?

“We have enough time if we will but use it aright.”

~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe ~

Your Take Away:

  • To recognize the impact of time on stress, productivity at work and personal effectiveness.
  • To gain better awareness of time usage and better management of their own time by learning to use a time log.
  • To determine their main personal time wasters.
  • To describe the 5 critical time management skills.
  • To organize and prioritize tasks more effectively to reach goals by using the Time Management Matrix.
  • To make use of time blocks and minimize interruptions and to manage interruptions more effectively.
  • To set personal and family, career and business and personal development goals.
